Starlink is now requiring all customers to register their identification information when traveling with Starlink outside of their home country. For example, if you use Starlink Roam to travel from Canada to the US, you'll need to register for travel and submit your identification information in order to receive service in the US.
Travel registration is found in account settings on the Starlink website. Go to My Account > Settings > Registration Requirements to submit global travel plans if you are planning to leave your home country with Starlink.
This change affects every Starlink user on every service plan.
The information required to verify your identify for travel registration are as follows:
- Full Legal Name
- Nationality
- Date of Birth
- Passport Number
- Copy of Passport
- Live Portrait
If you don't register to travel, your service may become disabled when you leave your home country. To restore access to Starlink services, you must submit your travel registration, or return to your home country.
If travel registration is required you will see an error message in the Starlink app, which directs you to the Starlink website to upload your identification information.
