This is the new Starlink PoE power brick that comes in the Standard 4 kit. The Standard 4 X kit (previously called Gen 3 Standard) has the proprietary DC power supply that can only interface with the Router 3 (previously Gen 3 router). That meant that you could not remove the Starlink router from the system when using a 3rd party router.
With this new PoE power brick, removing the Starlink router is now possible when using an aftermarket router. Simply don't plug it in. Instead, plug in your 3rd party router to the PoE power brick using the included Ethernet cable. No bypass mode needed.
